Hollow Cuboid
Open in editorA hollow cuboid, a shape that mimics the four walls of a room without a roof or floor, here are additional technical names that could be considered:
Quadrilateral Prism Frame: Suggests a three-dimensional structure with a quadrilateral base extended vertically, but in this context, it's framed to highlight the absence of top and bottom faces.
Rectangular Prism Frame: This term is more specific to rooms with rectangular floor plans, indicating a three-dimensional frame that outlines the perimeter of a rectangular base.
Perimeter Wall Frame: This term emphasizes the structure's function as defining the outer boundary of a space, suitable for architectural and construction contexts.
Open Cuboid Skeleton: Highlights the open, skeletal nature of the shape, resembling a cuboid without its top and bottom faces, which is useful in design and engineering discussions.
4-Sided Wall Enclosure: Directly describes the shape as an enclosure made up of four walls, clear and straightforward for use in architecture and spatial design.
Spatial Boundary Frame: Suggests a frame that marks the boundaries of a spatial volume, fitting for discussions in spatial analysis and architectural design.
Architectural Wall Array: Implies a systematic arrangement of walls to create an architectural space, suitable for planning and modeling applications.
This is a first version of an idea I had. You can add different modifiers to the generated shape. Currently there is only the drilling machine that can drill a whole in the center of the shape.
