A hollow half sphere is a three-dimensional geometric shape that represents the upper half of a sphere with its interior volume removed, forming a dome-like shell. It features a smooth, curved outer surface and a matching concave interior, separated by a consistent wall thickness. The open circular base allows access to the hollowed interior, making it lighter than a solid hemisphere while retaining its structural curvature and visual symmetry.
This versatile form can be used in a wide variety of applications, including:
- Light diffusers or lampshades in custom lighting designs
- Acoustic reflectors or directional sound shells
- Protective domes for sensors, cameras, or small electronics
- Decorative bowls or planter bases in interior design
- Enclosures or casings in mechanical or robotics projects
- Mold forms for resin casting or thermal forming
- Artistic sculptures or installations leveraging its clean curves and balance

This is a first version of an idea I had. You can add different modifiers to the generated shape. Currently there is only the drilling machine that can drill a hole in the center (origin) of the shape and rotate.
