An ellipsoid is a three-dimensional shape that resembles a stretched-out sphere. This ellipsoid additionally has a straight hole drilled through its center, it creates a unique and interesting shape that can be used in a variety of engineering and design applications. For example it could be use as a ring, either for wearing on a hand or on another round object.

Alternative names for an ellipsoid with a straight hole in the center include: ellipsoid with a cylindrical hole and ellipsoid with a straight void.

Processing steps (work in progress)
This is a first version of an idea I had. You can add different modifiers to the generated shape. Currently there is only the drilling machine that can drill a hole in the center (origin) of the shape and rotate.
